Geir Lanesskog was born in Bergen, Norway but moved to the United States when he was five. He started college in an Engineering Physics program, but ended up with degrees in History and Business, then spent the past quarter century as a computer professional. He is a winner of both the Writers of the Future and Illustrators of the Future contests.
